Job Overview: 
The IT Operations & Security Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing our IT infrastructure, with a special focus on security, system availability, and compliance with SOC2 requirements. The role demands expertise in both technical IT management and security compliance, ensuring that our systems, networks, and processes align with industry best practices and meet SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria. The IT Operations & Security Administrator will also play a key role in maintaining our organization’s commitment to data privacy, security, and business continuity. 
Here’s what you will do as the IT Operations &Security Administrator:
SOC 2 Compliance and Security Management: 
■  Lead efforts to ensure that our IT systems, policies, and procedures adhere to SOC 2 controls and Trust Services Criteria (Security, Availability, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Privacy).
■  Work with internal stakeholders to ensure continuous SOC 2 compliance, monitoring systems and documentation to align with audit requirements. 
■  Regularly review and update security policies and procedures to ensure they meet SOC 2 standards.
■  Coordinate and manage the annual SOC 2 audit process, working directly with external auditors and ensuring timely preparation and resolution of audit findings. 
System  Administration & IT Infrastructure Management: 
■  Administer and maintain the organization’s IT systems, including servers, databases, cloud environments, and network infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure,
on-premise systems).
■  Perform regular system backups, monitoring, and recovery testing, ensuring business continuity in the event of system failure. 
■  Manage the configuration and deployment of software, patches, and updates to ensure systems remain secure and compliant. 
Security Operations: 
■  Continuously monitor networks, servers, and systems for potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.
■  Develop and implement security controls, including firewalls, access management, encryption, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to safeguard data and systems. 
■  Manage incident response efforts, including investigating and mitigating security incidents, data breaches, or vulnerabilities.   
■  Lead internal security awareness training to educate employees on secure practices, phishing threats, and data protection. 
Collaboration & Support: 
■  Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, HR, etc.) to ensure systems meet operational needs while adhering to security and compliance requirements.   
■  Provide support to employees with IT-related inquiries and issues, from hardware troubleshooting to software installation and security best practices.   
■  Prepare  and maintain documentation of systems, policies, and processes for both internal use and audit purposes. 
Risk Management and Continuous Improvement: 
■  Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans, recommending improvements to systems, processes, and controls.   
■  Proactively identify areas for improvement in IT systems and security protocols, working towards increasing efficiency, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance. 
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
Technical Experience: 
■  Proven experience (2+ years) as an IT Specialist, Systems Administrator, or in a similar technical role within an enterprise environment.   
■  Strong technical proficiency in IT systems management, networking, server administration, and cloud infrastructure (Webroot, Azure, etc.).   
■  In-depth knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, etc.) and security best practices.   
■  Experience with risk management, vulnerability assessments, and threat detection. 
SOC 2 Expertise: 
■  SOC 2 certification (or equivalent experience) and/or comprehensive understanding of SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria (Security, Availability,      
■  Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Privacy). Hands-on experience with SOC 2 audit preparation, reporting, and remediation plans.   
■  Strong knowledge of the security controls and processes required for SOC 2 compliance, and how to implement them within IT systems and operations. 
Certifications & Education: 
■  Bachelor's  degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.   
■  Relevant IT certifications such as SOC 2, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar certifications are preferred.   
■  Knowledge of industry frameworks and regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST is highly desirable. 
Soft Skills: 
■  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.   
■  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders. 
■  Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.   
■  A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security threats, risks, and compliance gaps.   
Preferred Qualifications: 
■  Experience managing ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. 
■  Familiarity with DevOps practices and integration of security within CI/CD pipelines. 
■  Experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to streamline security and compliance tasks.

The Regional Sales Manager will play a significant role in the customer expansion and implementation of new systems and improvements to existing capabilities of SWI’s Touchless Monitoring Solution.
Position / Title: Regional Sales Manager – NA
Job Location: Mississauga, ON
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
■ Manage and support sales team of assigned territory and region to ensure overall sales targets are met or exceeded.
■ Prospect new opportunities and manage existing customer relationships on a regional level.
■ Present and close sales transactions in a professional and proficient manner.
■ Determine sales targets for each territory and execute overall company goals.•
■ Facilitate changes in customer contracts and accounts and resolve special contract issues.
■ Manage and support region and partner strategy, structure, approval process in collaboration with sales field, customer service and sales operations teams.
■ Recruit, organize train and manage sales team related to region.
■ Business to business sales experience including assessment of customer needs and related structuring of products to meet customer needs.
■ Provide customer and general industry feedback to Marketing and Engineering for future product development as well as overall sales strategies.
■ Proficiency in prospecting, cold calling and closing sales leads.
■ Attend tradeshows or other industry/customer events where SWI’s presence is required.
■ Manage expenses and meet sales targets within assigned budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
■ BA/BS in Engineering / Computer Science, Diploma in Engineering Technology, Technical Field, or successful experience in a similar role.
■ Minimum of five years’ experience working in the utilities industry.
■ Understanding of utility applications, substations, operations and maintenance, asset management, asset inspection, protection and control, communications networks, SCADA.
■ The ideal candidate should have working knowledge in integrated physical security solutions, SmartGrid and AI technologies.
■ Current existing relationships with different utility companies is an asset.
■ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required – English.
■ Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency and ability to work with tight deadlines - ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.•
■ Provide a portfolio of current customers they will be able to communicate with immediately to present SWI and our product offerings and solutions.
■ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including CRM an asset.• Fluency in a second language would be an asset – specifically Spanish.
TEAMWORK:
■ Develop strong relationships with all functions at HQ, mainly the Inside Sales, Marketing, Technical Support & Operations teams for maximum impact.
■ Establish excellent rapport with channel partners in the region. Able to rally support, and drive focus and priority to market and sell SWI’s products and systems
