REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Job Description:

A highly skilled, experienced and motivated professional is desired to ensure the continued growth in this rapidly expanding market. The Regional Sales Manager will play a significant role in the sales growth and improvements to existing capabilities of SWI’s Video Solution. The successful candidate will have experience dealing with Electric Power Utilities with a good understanding of Engineering and Operations groups and the value an automated asset monitoring system will bring.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage and support sales activity in assigned territory to ensure overall sales targets are met or exceeded

• Find new opportunities and manage existing customers on a regional level

• Facilitate changes in customer contracts and accounts

• Manage and support regional partner strategy and structure

• Collaborate with technical sales support and inside sales to support customers and close opportunities

• Assessment of customer needs and related structuring of products to meet customer requirements

• Provide customer and market feedback to product management for future product roadmap development

• Attend and support industry tradeshows and other industry/customer events to gather sales leads and close opportunities

• Manage expenses and meet sales targets within assigned budget

Qualifications Required:

• Detailed oriented, self-motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven product and industry knowledge with strong customer focus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, and CRM for tracking and reporting sales activities
• Minimum five years sales experience in the electric power and/or industrial markets
• BA/BS in Engineering or Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or successful experience in a similar role
• Strong customer focus with a sense of urgency and ability to work with tight deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Work well both independently and in a team environment
